Let's Get Dangerous!: Their tank selection sucks and most of their members have pretty skewed priorities but Anchovy is a pretty capable commander and, when they can get their heads in the game, they can actually be pretty formidable.Lethal Joke Character: From the OVA onwards, they're not out-and-out pushovers and are perfectly capable of getting some wins.
Joke Character: The anime (prior to the seventh OVA) doesn't show the fight, just the result.Gratuitous Italian: Almost everyone tends to pepper their speech with bits of Italian words in between.Cue everyone present (save for Anchovy, Carpaccio, and Pepperoni) charging up the stairs towards the cafeteria. Just as she was about to reveal their "Secret Weapon", the bell tower tolls to signal noon time. Ooh, Shiny!: During the introductory stinger of the said OVA, Anchovy was giving a speech towards the school's Sensha-do team. They field one CV-33 in the match, possibly because it's the only tank that fit on the back of the pickup truck they came in, not being able to afford other options. In the movie they show up to help Ōarai in the match against the University team, helping to take out the Morser-Karl as well as providing recon for Ōarai's team by riding on the roller-coaster tracks. ĭespite being a mere footnote in the main anime, their match against Ōarai is given more depth both in the manga and later on in The Real Anzio Battle OVA, but with completely different circumstances. Noted to be highly motivated, they have been shown to deploy varieties of Italian tanks such as a Carro Armato P40, a Semovente 75/18, and a Carro Veloce 元/33.
